JESSICA projects were visited by Lithuanian and Croatian institutions

Representatives of several institutions from Croatia and Lithuania – with responsibilities in domains such as urban regeneration and regional development – came to Portugal and Spain to meet with JESSICA’s project managers and to visit emblematic projects that have been implemented in Lisbon, Evora, Seville and Cordoba.

JESSICA – Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas, is an initiative of the European Commission developed in co-operation with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).

Thousands of projects throughout the EU have benefited from investment through EU regional policy programs over the years. Portugal and the Andalusia regions are two relevant case studies.
