CoLogistics Business Accelerator – launch event

Market Access participated, on the 25th of May, in the launch event of the CoLogistics Business Accelerator – a business accelerator around the logistics function and supply chain.

The CoLogistics Project promotes cross-border collaboration in the field of transport and logistics of the Euroregion Galicia-North of Portugal. The CoLogistics Business Accelerator‘s main objective is to solve technological challenges in the field of logistics and supply chain for Euroregion companies that are part of the accelerator.

Market Access will be supporting the development of some activities under the project scope and, as such, was invited to participate on the launch session of the business accelerator. The event took place at Casa do Território, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, and was organized by Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão, AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal e APDL – Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo. The launch event was hosted by Augusto Lima, CM de Famalicão Alderman Economy Department; Jorge Marcolino, AEP International Area Director; Marinho Dias, APDL innovation co-director; Rui Barros – MITMYNID e Rui Sousa – Market Access.

The CoLogistics (CoLogistics Project or the Logistics Collaboration Structure Project in the Euroregion CoLogistics) general objective is the internationalization through the impulse of the logistic activity and the strengthening of its organizational and technological capacities. The project has been chosen by the European Cooperation Programme Interreg V A Spain – Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020 to be developed over the next few years. The CoLogistics partners are: CEP (Confederation of Employers of Pontevedra), IGAPE (Instituto Galego de Promoción Económica), Xunta de Galicia, Porto de Vigo, AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal, Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Famalicão and  APDL – Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo.
