Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event for apparel fabric buyers, product R&D specialists, designers, merchandisers and sourcing professionals that took place from the 22nd to the 24th July in New York. Under the scope of projects with its client Marjomotex (family-owned company that stands out as a producer of trousers in fabrics such as denim, twill and knit), Market Access was present supporting the company. Previous and during the event, several contacts were made and the gathering of relevant information about the sector also had an important part.
This international business platform offers a wide product range covering the entire fabric spectrum – season to season attendees discover textiles of innovative structures, material mixes and surprising colour palettes. This is a must-attend event for professionals in every facet of the industry.
Over its 10-year history, Texworld USA has provided designers, fabric buyers, merchandisers and sourcing professionals with the unique opportunity to meet directly with a wide range of manufacturers from Asia, the Middle East, North and South America and from many other regions around the globe.

For Winter 2019, our Explore the Floor series returns featuring exclusive, guided tours with industry experts in which attendees will have the opportunity to meet new exhibitors and learn about different companies – all on the show floor,” organisers say.
Last edition counted with more than 5,300 visitors, 501 exhibitors from 13 different countries. The participants’ main goals, according to the official page, were: find new suppliers, make purchasing decisions/obtain quotes and for education means/industry insight.
