Collision Conference – the sister of WebSummit

We went to Canada accompanying AEP on its participation on Collision Conference in Toronto, under the scope of the project INTERREG ECICII PLUS.

This is a project of cross-border cooperation that counts on a lot of initiatives to support external markets positioning for SME of the Euroregion that want to acquire skills and innovate their procedures on the targeted markets, where Canada is included.

Going to Collision Toronto, ‘sister’ of WebSummit, was part of the events that AEP organized under the scope of this project. The participation on this event gave SME from the Contract and Knowledge Intensive Services (KIS) the opportunity to present their products and services to potential buyers, as well as the promotion of networking between the participants. In total, there were 10 companies participating (8 national and 2 Galician)

At Collision Conference, Portugal had a lounge to, apart from raising awareness of the entrepreneurial national ecosystem, offer the companies the space to schedule meetings, provide appointments with other entities and spread initiatives.

The event took place in Toronto city between 20th and 23rd may and received about 25.000 visitors from all over the world. João Correia Neves, Secretary of State for Economy, was also present.

Watch here some testimonials of companies that participated on the event with us.
