The brand Portugal by Beira Baixa was unveiled at the beginning of September at Herdade da Urgueira, in Castelo Branco. It is a project upheld by the Business Association of Beira Baixa (AEBB) for the promotion of the regions agrifood products in international markets. The main goal of this new brand, which includes 19 local producers, is to strengthen the regional competitiveness and business dynamics.
Market Access has accompanied opinion makers, bloggers and international journalists with the aim of promoting the new brand and its products, especially by visiting the stands and by tasting the menus made by a Portuguese chef, naturally with the brands products. The event was part of a broader strategy to promote the Beira Baixa agrifood industry in international markets. In addition to the 19 producers associated with Portugal by Beira Baixa and the international guests, there were also important local entities.
