MD Springs, a Portuguese company specialized in the production of steel helical springs for industry, has found in its neighbour Spain a range of opportunities to sell its products.
Since 2017, MD Springs together with Market Access, has been working in outlining and implementing their internationalization process to the Spanish market.

After setting the strategy to enter the market, client prospection ensued. Alongside Market Access, MD Springs established the profile of priority contacts to approach in the market and Market Access team has been aiding the company in its sustained process of expansion and prospection of new clients and has been following up the whole negotiation process with MD Spring’s clients in Spain, thus becoming an integral part of the company’s export department. Over the past few years, Market Access has been organizing several business visits to the Spanish market in order to strengthen business connections with current clients and to search for new clients. One example of this is the participation at the fair Subcontratación/BIEMH – International Fair of Manufacturing Processes and Equipment in Bilbao, Spain, 2017 edition and 2019 edition.
MD Springs operates in the helical springs and metallic artifacts segment. The company seeks to deliver products that meet the needs of their clients and market and stands out for making springs with a wide range of steel diameters, that can vary between 0.20 mm and 32 mm.
